Works General Buildings received a very urgent request from the Department of Health to renovate a portion of a building where broken furniture and appliances were stored.

"We only had two months to complete the job, because this depot will be the hub from where all anti-retroviral drugs will be distributed to clinics in the Western Cape," said Ann, well known for seeing that projects are delivered on time according to specifications.

Besides the normal renovation of this 900m² area, Ann also had to see that the IT, signage, security, telephone and electricity infrastructures were up to standard. According to Judy Gershman, the depot manager and pharmacist, her department is very grateful for a job well done. "What a pleasure to work in a lovely clean and efficient environment," she said.
