 Artscape's Audience Development & Education Dept invites international agencies, SA organizations & artists to participate in celebrating the lives, achievements, hopes, dreams and fears of all women through the performing and visual arts.- 2nd Women's Arts Festival at Artscape Theatre Centre
- Theme: Women & Disability - will run throughout all performances that highlights the need to continually work towards building an integreated society.
- Date: 7- 9 August 2008
- Sponsor British Council, Cape Town is an international cultural relations organisation with a firm commitment & responsibility to promoting equal opportunity & diversity.
- Francesca Martinez - special featured guest artists throughout festival - is an award-winning British comedienne with mild cerebral palsy who performed all over the world.
- Friends Day Centre & Woodside Special Care Centre are the beneficiaries of the entire festival
