The Western Cape Government, in partnership with the City of Cape Town, Cape Peninsula University of Technology and the National Department of Communications will host International Society Week 2005 from 22 to 31 August.
This will include two major international Conferences, the SANGONeT World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) civil society colloquium, or Thetha starting on Monday 22 August and the Community Informatics Research Networks [CIRN] Conference on the 25th August in addition to a range of integrated training, displays, workshops, panel discussions, and networking opportunities.
