Alternative settlement options for farm workers are provided to promote permanent settlement and agricultural development. These settlement options may be "on farm" or "off farm" to allow farm workers and their dependents to benefit from tenure and housing rights and take advantage of subsidy opportunities.Details of the Settlement Scheme are set out in the Western Cape Policy for the Settlement of Farm Workers. |
