In terms of the National Road Traffic Act, anyone manufacturing or selling licence plates must be registered. |
INSTRUCTIONS: |
You apply to be a registered licence plate manufacturer by completing form MNP and submitting it at Department of Transport and Public Works, Law Administration Division. The application must be accompanied by:
The application can be sent to: Law Administration Division Payment can be made electronically or you can include a cheque with your application. Cheques should be made payable to the Department of Transport and Public Works and posted to the Law Administration Division. Electronic payments should be made to: Absa Bank Proof of payment can be faxed to the Law Administration Division at 021 483 2357 or included with your posted application.
