City of Cape Town Single Invoice for Services
DESCRIPTION:
In September 2003 a new system was introduced that allows ratepayers to consolidate all their City accounts (including rates, water, refuse, electricity and sewerage) for a single property into one invoice.The new system works faster than the previous systems and the period between the meter reading and the delivery of the account is shorter.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Municipal account can be paid at any of the City's 108 cash offices.

They can also be paid:

  • via the Internet
  • per bank order
  • at any EasyPay outlet at Pick 'n Pay, Shoprite/Checkers or Foodworld.
If you need help regarding the new invoice:
  • Go to any municipal cash office.
  • Phone our Contact Centre on 086 010 3089 between 08:00 and 16:30 (on week days).
  • Write to the Director of Revenue, PO Box 655, Cape Town, 8000.
  • Fax your query to 086 010 3090.
  • Email your request or query to accounts@capetown.gov.za.
