The Office of the Consumer Protector provides information to the public on their rights as consumers. They also raise awareness around specific issues through public awareness campaigns, such as the Savings Campaign. This campaign aims to raise the savings rate amongst consumers and highlight the benefits of cash purchases over credit as many South Africans are caught up in debt. |
