New Agricultural Training Centre to be Opened in Clanwilliam

A new agricultural training centre will be opened at the Augsburg Gymnasium, Clanwilliam on Friday 6 August 2004 as part of the empowerment programme of the Department of Agriculture in the Western Cape. This new facility for farm workers and resource poor farmers will officially be opened by the Premier of the Western Cape, Mr Ebrahim Rasool, accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture, Cobus Dowry.

This project forms part of the Premier's "20 deposits" during the first 100 days of the new government in the Western Cape in a effort to create a home for all.
