Government Grants Increase 2005

New government grant amounts for 2005 come into effect from 1 April 2005. The new amounts are as follows (for detailed information click on each grant):

Child Support Grant - R180 (up from R170)
Care Dependency Grant - R780 (up from R740)
Foster Care Grant - R560 (up from R530)
Disability Grant - R780 (up from R740)
Old Age Grant - R780 (up from R740)
Grant-in-Aid - R160 (up from R150)
