CALL TO ACTION

Retina South Africa joins 47 countries in September to create awareness of retinal blinding conditions such as:

Macular Degeneration
Retinitis Pigmentosa
Usher Syndrome

These genetic conditions affect hundreds of thousands of South Africans and millions of people world wide.

Early detection can lead to intervention, genetic counseling, access to future therapy and rehabilitation.
