November 2007: Crime, Violence and Social Capital

Crime is an affront to our sense of democracy
This month the Social Capital Network focuses on the interaction between crime and violence and how it negatively affects the development of Social Capital across communities and organisations.
We will talk about Ubuntu Philosophy as an anchor to counteract the high costs of crime, where it promotes an all round understanding of human beings' interaction with nature and society.
