This is the first Provincial Programme of Action. It provides an integrated approach to development in the Western Cape Province from an economic, governance and social perspective. These three areas of focus are called clusters; the departments and priorities are also grouped into these clusters - as they are at National level. Each cluster at National level has identified strategic objectives and then at provincial level departments have identified specific programmes and actions to respond to the priority needs.The PPOA brings together all the major activities under the key provincial strategies into one document. (viz. PDGS, ikapa) The progress of these activities will be regularly monitored, and updates will be placed on this web-site on a quarterly basis.
