The City of Cape Town has made plans to minimise the disruption of strike action by municipal staff from Monday, 21 January onwards. It is not clear at this stage what form the strike action will take.  >

Residents of Cape Town are informed that an e-mail message containing a warning of a city-wide electricity shutdown starting at 21:00 on Wednesday (16th January) night is incorrect.  >
