Western Cape Education Department (Provincial Government of the Western Cape)
This policy deals with various issues relating to HIV/Aids and education, including non-discrimination and equality, testing and the admission/appointment of learners and educators, disclosure of HIV/Aids-related information and creating a safe environment. It also deals with education on HIV/Aids, the duties and responsibilities of learners, students, educators and parents and what to do if a learner/educator refuses to study with/teach an HIV positive person. The document also addresses how the policy will be implemented.  >
