The Influence of the Method of Topdressing Fertiliser Phosphorus (P) to Established Kikuyu at the Outeniqua Research Station
OBJECTIVE:
This research aims to investigate the possibility of topdressing established kikuyu low in soil-P with fertiliser-P.

DESCRIPTION:

Five P-rates (0, 40, 80, 120 and 160 kg P/ha) are applied as topdressings (applied to the soil surface and irrigated into the root zone or mixed with the top 10cm soil through rotovator action).

Dry matter production and soil-P levels are recorded.
