HIV/Aids Awareness through Sport and Recreation
INKCAZELO:
Along with the Department of Health's Provincial Integrated Departmental Aids Committee, the Department has a HIV/Aids awareness programme that uses sport and recreation as a means to address the HIV/Aids pandemic. As part of sport and health awareness, the Department introduces activities to promote and encourage an active and healthy lifestyle. Awareness of HIV/Aids is created for persons involved in sport and recreation activities via events promoting abstinence and safe sex.
