This Bill adds to and amends the Agricultural Produce Agents Act, 1992. It revises the constitution of the council regulating the professions of fresh produce agent, livestock agents and export agents, provides for the extension of the jurisdiction of the council to export agents and enhances the regulating authority of the council.

This draft bill aims to amend the Choice on Termination of Pregnancy Act, 1996, so as to:

• replace the designation of facilities by the Minister with approval by the Member of the Executive Council, and the making of regulations connected thereto
• enable public and private facilities offering 24 hour maternity service to provide termination of pregnancy services and
• provide for the recording of information and submission of statistics.

This draft bill provides for legal security of tenure by transferring communal land including KwaZulu-Natal lngonyama land to communities, or by awarding comparable redress in order to:

• provide for the conduct of a land rights enquiry to determine the transition from old order rights to new order rights
• provide for the democratic administration of communal landprovide for Land Rights Boards
• provide for the co-operative performance of municipal functions on communal land and for matters incidental thereto.

This draft bill aims to amend the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996, in order to make provision for the appointment of two Deputy Presidents to the Supreme Court of Appeal and to make provision for the conversion of the various High Courts into a single High Court of South Africa.

This draft bill aims to amend the Higher Education Act, 1997, so as to provide for consequential matters arising out of incorporation of public higher education institutions in relation to labour and student matters and to provide for matters connected therewith.

This bills amends the Housing Consumers Protection Measures Act, 1998, so as to:

• provide for certain revised definitions and the insertion of a new definition of"owner builder"
• provide for the application for exemption of owner builders and
• transfer the powers of granting exemption from the Minister to the National Home Builders Registration Council.

This draft bill aims to amend the Liquor Products Act, 1989, so as to:

• amend and insert certain definitions
• provide for the reconstitution and renaming of the Wine and Spirit Board and to limit its area of responsibility
• provide for compulsory particulars on containers
• comply with the Republic's international obligations
• ensure the Act's compatibility with the Constitution and general legal principles
• provide gender-equal terminology; and to provide for matters connected therewith.

This proposed law deals with air pollution and how to prevent it and improve the quality of the air in South Africa. The Bill also suggests national norms and standards for monitoring and managing air quality.

This draft bill aims to amend the Prevention of Illegal Eviction from and Unlawful Occupation of Land Act, 1998 so as to:

• amend certain definitions
• qualify the application of the Act
• prohibit the arrangement or organisation of occupation of land and buildings without the owner's consent
• amend certain provisions relating to the prohibition of receipt or solicitation of consideration in respect of unlawful occupation of land and buildings and
• create offences and penalties for contravention of certain provisions.

This bill aims to provide for an enabling framework for promoting South Africa's linguistic diversity and encouraging respect for language rights within the framework of building and consolidating a united, democratic South African nation.It takes the following into account:

• the broad acceptance of linguistic diversity, social justice
• the principle of equal access to public services and programmes
• respect for language rights
• the establishment of language services in all spheres of government
• the powers and functions of such services and matters connected therewith.

This draft bill aims to amend the Sterilisation Act, 1998, so as to:

• substitute, a definition
• make provision for a medical opinion in certain circumstances and
• provide for additional information to be considered when contemplating sterilisation.
