Residents are advised that the Big Bay parking and recreational area will be closed from 18 April until 1 November 2006.

The closure is necessitated by the bulk earthworks/service installation, landscaping and construction of public amenities related to the Big Bay Coastal Node development by Jonga Entebeni.

No direct vehicular or pedestrian access will be possible from Otto du Plessis Drive during this period. Pedestrian access to the Big Bay beach will, however, still be possible from Eerste Steen and Bloubergstrand.

The City apologises for any inconvenience caused.
