Dubbed 'A Decade of Jazzathon' this year's festival will play out between January 12 to 15, boasting two stages at the Amphitheatre and Clock Tower Precinct V&A Waterfront and a total of 32 performances.
Among the most notable artists will be guitar maestros Jimmy Dludlu, Allou April, Louis Mhlanga and bassist Sammy Webber. They'll be playing alongside saxophone supremos Robbie Jansen, McCoy Mrubata, Moreira Chonguica and pianist Hotep Galeta.
Also performing will be 'Mama Kaap' Sylvia Mdunyelwa who will headline a strong 'All-Female Friday' line-up at the Amphitheatre stage. She'll be joined by all girl band extraordinaire Anything Goes, the Likhwezi Marimba band and the sultry Labella to mention but a few.
Please note that, like the previous years, this is an open event.
