The Premier, Ebrahim Rasool, will attend a Youth Sports Event, supported by the Department of Community Safety in Klapumuts under the theme of "Stand Up Against Crime and Make a Change". This event is aimed at alleviating the negative impact of drugs, alcohol abuse, teenage pregnancies, crime and HIV/AIDS within this community.

The day's activities will include soccer, rugby, netball, basketball, together with jumping castles, music and a variety of other community games. The organisers will use this event to promote inclusivity and unity amongst the youth, identify and develop talent, mobilize the community youth and breech cultural barriers.
