The Premier will deliver the Keynote Address at the conference, entitled "The Challenges and Opportunities brought about by International Migration" and participate in a panel discussion with, amongst others, Mr. Abel Jeru Mbilinyi (Country Representative : United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees), Commissioner Mzwandile Petros (Western Cape Provincial Commissioner : SAPS), Mr. G. Burton Joseph (Director: Immigration Policy and Directives, Home Affairs Department), Mr. Mlungisi Hlongwane (President: South African National Civic Organisation) and Ms. Nomhle Nkumbi-Ndopu (Deputy President : Black Management Forum).
Other participants in the conference include Prof. Kader Asmal (Professor Extraordinary : UWC), Dr. Eddie Maloka (Advisor for Governance and Public Administration, NEPAD), Dr. Zonke Majodina ( Deputy Chairperson: Human Rights Commission) and Mr. Tony Ehrenreich (Provincial Secretary : COSATU, Western Cape).
